The Sunflower Clinic is now offering a psychology therapy service for adolescents aged 12 to 18 based at our Cork clinic. This is headed up by Georgina Lannin, Educational and Child Psychologist with strong expertise in therapeutic intervention, psychological assessment, and consultation.
Biography – Georgina Lannin –Educational and Child Psychologist
Georgina qualified with a Professional Doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology from the University of Limerick in 2024, following on from her Masters in Child and Adolescent Psychology (cum Laude) from Leiden University, the Netherlands in 2018.
During her studies, Georgina has worked with the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), in West Cork, with the National Educational Psychology Service (NEPS), in Galway, and she has also spent a year working with Children’s Disability Network teams (CDNT) in Limerick/ Waterford. Georgina has spent almost five years working in a therapeutic capacity with the Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) in various locations around Ireland.
Georgina has developed strong expertise in therapeutic intervention, psychological assessment, and consultation with parents, teachers and clients. She has fostered a compassionate and caring approach to help clients address their mental health needs.
Georgina joined the Sunflower Clinic team in 2024 working with the Autism assessment multidisciplinary team and wider psychology team offering psychology therapy services for adolescents.
